Bathroom #10: The Green Bathroom Deserves a Raise and Bathroom #11: The Red Bathroom Is Fighting for Its Life
Very green, very nature like
The Story
This bathroom is located in the World Nature section of EPCOT.
I am guessing that’s why they used the color green.
Green = nature.
Disney is very clever that way.
Unlike the green bathroom by Spaceship Earth, this bathroom is a great bathroom.
Nope. Not just great. Wonderfully great.
Yes, it is a busy, busy bathroom.
Yes, the toilet paper is so flimsy that it feels like confetti when you are pulling it from the dispenser.
But yet there is something wonderful about this bathroom.
The green hued colors all work seamlessly together.
There is peaceful nature inspired music playing, perfectly matching the theme.
There is a level of cleanliness about it that feels special.
And then…
The towel animals.
There were many, many towel animals above every hand dryer.
Look! Towel Animals
Yes. Towel animals. In a bathroom.
They were precious and adorable and completely unnecessary in the best possible way.
The person caring for this bathroom genuinely loves it. You can feel the respect. She cared enough to make over ten towel animals just so strangers could smile while washing their hands.
This duck even has a flower!
That is Disney magic.
This is why I love Disney so very much.
Not for the rides.
Not for the food.
But for the tiny little surprises waiting quietly around the corner.
Even in a bathroom.

Anything Special?
The peaceful music completely changes the energy of the room. Even though people are constantly coming and going, it still feels calm somehow. Add in the towel animals and suddenly this bathroom feels weirdly emotional. Like someone cared enough to make the chaos softer.

Bathroom #11: The Red Bathroom Is Fighting for Its Life
Even the outside looks tired
The Story
Ugh. Just… ugh.
I wish I was writing about how glorious the red bathroom is.
But I can’t.
This bathroom is located in World Discovery at EPCOT.
I guess red = discovery?
Only Disney knows why.
But anyway…
The red bathroom is just icky.
There are too many people and too many problems.
There was no music.
There were no towel animals.
There were only stressed out people waiting in line for a stressed out bathroom.
I did see the Cast Member trying to clean, but the amount of people coming through was like a tidal wave trying to knock her over.
And honestly?
This is not fully the bathroom’s fault.
There is a bathroom problem in World Discovery.
There are almost no other bathrooms nearby.
In World Nature and World Celebration, there are bathrooms scattered throughout the area.
But in World Discovery?
There is basically just this one.
Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind, Mission: SPACE, and Test Track do not really help the bathroom situation.
And yes, Space 220 Restaurant technically has one… but you need a reservation to get upstairs.
So this tiny red bathroom stands alone in a sea of people trying to “discover” World Discovery.
No wonder it feels lost and confused.
I don’t blame the red bathroom itself.
It actually has a great design.
I love the red and maroon discovery design.
I blame the fact that it has been sent alone into battle.

Location: World Discovery
Nearest Landmark: Near Mission: SPACE / Test Track area
Time of Day Visited: Morning
Crowd Level: Chaos
Anything Special?
This bathroom feels like it should have backup. It desperately needs another nearby restroom to absorb some of the pressure. The design itself is actually pretty nice, but the constant flood of people completely overwhelms it.
The Official Ruling 🚽
Situation:
High Traffic Chaos
Cold Air Test:
Trying Its Best
Stall Experience:
Cozy (Not in a Good Way)
Paper Situation:
Standard Disney Survival Paper
Flush Situation:
Emotionally Exhausted
Overall Bathroom Mood:
“A tiny soldier abandoned on the battlefield.”
Final Verdict:
Not terrible because of design. Terrible because it never gets a moment to breathe.
Two bathrooms. Same park. Same design era. Completely different emotional support levels.
