Bathroom #38: The Bathroom I Forgot Existed… And I’m Ashamed
The Story
This bathroom surprised me.
And I am not easily surprised.
The first surprise?
I forgot this bathroom existed.
Now, in my defense, Disney has many, many bathrooms.
The estimate is somewhere around 300.
But don’t worry.
We are going to figure out the exact number during The Great Disney Bathroom Quest.
Someone has to do it.
And apparently that someone is me.
Magic Kingdom has a lot of bathrooms, and I pride myself on knowing where most of them are.
So I admit this with a tiny bit of shame…
I completely forgot about this one.
So much so that I argued with my husband about it.
He casually mentioned:
“There’s a bathroom by First Aid and the Baby Care Center.”
And I immediately said no.
Absolutely not.
That bathroom does not exist.
Well…
He was right.
And I am so glad I finally listened to him.
I think this bathroom obsession might be contagious.
Because now even my husband is noticing bathrooms.
The second Main Street bathroom is located between Casey’s Corner and Crystal Palace, right next to First Aid and the Baby Care Center.
And can we talk about this little area?
It is a trifecta of cuteness.
The bathroom.
First Aid.
Baby Care Center.
All three buildings match perfectly.
They have the same beautiful Main Street style, and you know exactly where you are just by looking at them.
Disney does this better than anyone.
They don’t just build a bathroom.
They create an entire little world around the bathroom.
And this one?
This one is a hidden gem.
After the stress-filled bathroom near Guest Services, this felt like stepping into another universe.
I saw one person.
One.
That’s it.
No chaos.
No crowds.
No frantic Main Street energy.
You can actually breathe.
You can remember you are standing inside Magic Kingdom instead of just rushing to the next thing.
It feels like a tiny hidden oasis while thousands of people walk right past.
And the outside?
Adorable.
The building is white, delicate, and classic Main Street.
So when I walked inside, I expected the same thing.
Something soft.
Something simple.
Maybe some pastel colors.
Nope.
Surprise number two.
The inside is bold.
And I loved it.
It is stunning.
It is welcoming.
It does not exactly match what you expect from the outside, but somehow it works perfectly.
Everything connects.
The floor tile matches the wall tile.
The wall tile matches the stall doors.
The pattern from the floor becomes an accent on the walls.
Someone thought about every single detail.
And you know I appreciate someone who thinks about bathroom details.
The best part?
The sign above the sinks.
“Lather Up.”
Come on.
That is adorable.
And yes, it is in both bathrooms.
Someone added personality to hand washing.
I appreciate you, unknown bathroom designer.
