Bathroom #40: The Tiny Tomorrowland Bathroom That Actually Works
Sometimes tiny things surprise you.
And this bathroom surprised me.
Hidden away in the corner of Tomorrowland Terrace is a tiny restroom.
And when I say tiny…
I mean teeny tiny.
Only three stalls.
That’s it.
Three.
And somehow?
It works.
I know. I was shocked too.
Tomorrowland Terrace is an interesting place.
It used to be a regular restaurant, but now it is mostly known as the home of the fireworks dessert parties.
During the day though, all that seating is just sitting there waiting for you.
Waiting for you to bring over your hot dog from Casey’s Corner.
Waiting for you to sit.
Waiting for you to escape the Magic Kingdom crowds for a few peaceful minutes.
It is actually a wonderful little hidden area.
The bathroom is to the right of this cart.
There was even an awesome Cast Member ready with ketchup.
Prepared.
Organized.
A ketchup hero.
During the day, this whole area is calm and quiet, which means this bathroom gets forgotten.
And honestly?
That is what makes it perfect.
Now nighttime during fireworks?
That might be a completely different bathroom story.
I can only imagine the chaos.
But during the day?
This tiny bathroom is exactly the right size.
It was clean.
It was stocked.
It was cool.
The trifecta of bathroom greatness.
And the theming?
Tomorrowland understood the assignment.
We are supposed to be in a futuristic world.
A world of technology.
A world of tomorrow.
And what do we get?
Robot bathroom signs.
Yes.
Robot bathroom signs.
How fun is that?
Someone looked at a restroom sign and thought…
“Nope. A regular sign isn’t good enough. We need robots.”
Thank you, mysterious Disney bathroom sign designer.
I noticed.
The tile work also keeps the Tomorrowland feeling going.
The maroon and white tiles feel futuristic.
The design carries from the floors to the walls.
Everything matches.
Everything makes sense.
Nothing feels forgotten.
And that makes my bathroom-loving heart happy.
