A Salute to All Bathrooms… But Mostly This Bathroom: Bathroom #25
A welcoming sign to paradise!
This bathroom does not simply exist.
It makes an entrance.
Wow.
Just wow.
I walked into this bathroom and I couldn’t stop smiling.
Not a polite little smile.
A full, ridiculous, people-are-going-to-wonder-why-I-am-this-happy-inside-a-bathroom kind of smile.
I felt giddy.
Because this is it.
This is the bathroom.
The bathroom of my dreams.
A restroom masterpiece.
A work of art.
A bathroom so beautiful that even Miss Piggy herself would walk in, flip her hair, look around, and say…
“Finally. A bathroom worthy of moi.”
And she would be correct.
Everything about this bathroom screams thoughtful design.
Every choice.
Every detail.
Every inch.
There is not one flaw.
I know. I said it.
No flaws.
And somewhere Sam Eagle is standing proudly with a tiny American flag saying, “This is the glorious achievement I always knew was possible.”
Because this bathroom deserves a patriotic salute.
The Story
I know a Cast Member who has a friend who helped design this bathroom.
And apparently he is embarrassed.
Why?
Because he feels like all of his talent got wasted on…
“Just a bathroom.”
Excuse me, friend.
I need you to listen carefully.
There is no such thing as “just a bathroom.”
Bathrooms matter.
Bathrooms help people.
Bathrooms can completely change someone’s day.
A well-designed bathroom is not boring.
It is not a waste.
It is a gift.
And you and your team did not just design a bathroom.
You created bathroom paradise.
Sam Eagle would probably call it “a shining beacon of restroom excellence.”
And for once, Sam Eagle would not be exaggerating.
The Details
The first thing you notice?
The air conditioning.
The second you walk toward this bathroom…
BAM.
Cold air.
Beautiful, wonderful, magical cold air.
The kind of air conditioning that makes you remember happiness exists during an EPCOT summer day.
You can actually stop sweating.
Inside a theme park bathroom.
A miracle.
And then you hear it.
Music.
Patriotic music.
The kind of background music that would make Sam Eagle stand a little taller.
But it is perfect.
Not too loud.
Not screaming at you.
Just quietly adding to the atmosphere.
Yes.
I am saying this bathroom has atmosphere.
This bathroom has ambiance.
This bathroom has a personality.
The colors are beautiful.
The design choices make sense.
The details are everywhere.
Nothing feels forgotten.
This is not just a bathroom.
This is art.
The Stalls
Now let’s talk about the greatest achievement.
The size.
Disney knew EPCOT crowds were coming, and Disney was ready.
How ready?
I counted.
Yes.
I counted bathroom stalls.
Because apparently this is who I am now.
And yes, I got a few weird looks.
Worth it.
The women’s bathroom has:
🚽 37 regular stalls
🚽 2 extra-large wheelchair accessible stalls
🚽 5 larger stalls with handrails
Left side. Notice the colors, everything matches.
That is…
44 stalls.
Forty-four.
Just on the women’s side.
Cue the Muppet orchestra.
Cue Sam Eagle crying a single patriotic tear.
This bathroom was designed to handle people.
It was designed with actual humans in mind.
And that matters.
Anything Special?
This bathroom has two sides.
My advice?
Go right.
Right hand side.
The companion bathrooms are located inside the entrance on the right side, which is such a thoughtful choice.
Because everyone deserves access to the magical air conditioning machine.
And then…
The cherry on top.
Picnic tables.
The glorious picnic tables.
Actual places for people to sit while they wait.
Not awkwardly standing outside.
Not blocking the entrance.
Not melting into the pavement.
Sitting.
Comfortably.
In the cold air.
Being a polite bathroom waiting person has never felt so fancy.
Miss Piggy would approve.
Official Ruling
Cleanliness: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Absolutely beautiful.
Size: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
44 stalls. Enough said.
Air Conditioning: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
This AC deserves its own fan club.
Design: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Thoughtful, beautiful, and full of personality.
Crowd Control: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Finally, a bathroom designed for EPCOT-sized crowds.
Toilet Paper:
Well…
It is still Disney toilet paper.
Even masterpieces have struggles.
Final Verdict
I cannot explain how much I love and appreciate this bathroom.
And I know that sounds dramatic.
It’s a bathroom.
But this one means something.
It made me feel like Disney understood families like mine.
People who need space.
People who need accessibility.
People who need a moment away from the heat and crowds.
People who just need something to be easy.
That is Disney magic.
Not just castles.
Not just fireworks.
Sometimes Disney magic is a perfectly designed bathroom with freezing cold air conditioning and 44 stalls.
I hope this design is the future.
Because Disney clearly has the right people creating these spaces.
They have people who can take something ordinary…
And turn it into something extraordinary.
Sam Eagle, please begin the ceremony.
This bathroom deserves the salute. 🇺🇸🚽✨
