The Little Beach Club Bathroom That Has Saved Us More Times Than I Can Count #81
This bathroom is cute.
Actually, cute might not be strong enough.
It has adorableness written all over it.
And even better?
It is in the perfect location.
Let me set the scene.
You have just left EPCOT.
You are walking toward the Yacht Club because you have a lovely dinner reservation at Yachtsman Steakhouse.
You have walked approximately 47,000 miles around EPCOT.
Okay.
Maybe not 47,000.
But your feet believe it.
You make it up that little hill between EPCOT and the Beach Club.
Normally?
Not a big hill.
After an entire day at EPCOT?
Mount Everest.
You finally reach the top.
Victory!
And then...
your bladder makes an announcement.
WE NEED A BATHROOM. NOW.
Wonderful.
Do you turn around and walk all the way back toward EPCOT?
Do you start speed-walking toward the Beach Club lobby?
Do you panic slightly while trying to calculate the distance to every bathroom you have ever known?
Nope.
Because there is a bathroom right there.
And this little bathroom has saved me and my family more times than I can count.
The Details
Location: Along the walking path between EPCOT and Disney's Beach Club Resort
Nearest Landmark: Right by the smaller Beach Club pool, along the circular pathway
Best Time: During the day when it is open to the public
Crowd Level: Every time I have used it, it has been wonderfully quiet
Anything Special: Recently renovated and absolutely adorable
The bathroom is in a small building on the right-hand side of the path as you walk toward the Beach Club and Yacht Club.
There is only one problem.
The shrubs are trying to keep it a secret.
They partially block the building, so if you don't know there is a bathroom there, it is very easy to walk right past it.
Don't.
Remember those shrubs.
Remember this bathroom.
Someday your bladder may thank me.
And if your anxiety starts whispering,
"Are we actually allowed to use that bathroom?"
Yes.
Yes, you are.
During the day, this bathroom is open to the public.
You are allowed to walk in.
I promise there is no secret Beach Club Bathroom Police waiting behind the bushes.
What a Glow-Up
This bathroom was recently renovated, and you can definitely tell.
Before the renovation, it felt a little forgotten.
Like Disney knew it existed but wasn't particularly interested in discussing it.
Not anymore.
Now?
This little bathroom is the star of the circular pathway.
Even the restroom signs are adorable.
Once again, we have men and women dressed in old-fashioned bathing suits.
I love these signs.
And the blue background is perfect for the Beach Club.
Then you walk inside...
and the theme keeps going.
There are wave tiles on the walls.
The mirror looks like it is surrounded by rope.
Nothing feels random.
Nothing feels forgotten.
Someone remembered that even a tiny poolside bathroom deserves a little Disney magic.
And I appreciate that.
A lot.
The Official Ruling
Situation: Tiny hidden lifesaver
Cold Air: YES. The air conditioning worked beautifully.
Stall Situation: 2 stalls total, including 1 accessible stall
Paper Situation: No complaints
Flush Situation: No bathroom trauma to report
Noise Level: Peaceful
Smell: Clean and fresh
Handwashing Area: 2 sinks
Decor: Adorable Beach Club perfection. Wave tiles, rope-style mirror and those old-fashioned bathing suit signs.
Companion Restroom: None that I saw
Overall Comfort: Excellent, especially for such a small bathroom
But I did notice one accessibility issue that bothered me.
There was no sink or mirror inside the accessible stall.
And both sinks in the main handwashing area looked pretty high to me.
That is definitely a drawback.
A renovated bathroom should not only be beautiful.
It should work well for as many people as possible.
And this feels like something that could have been done better.
Final Verdict
I love this little bathroom.
It is tiny.
It is adorable.
It is clean.
The air conditioning works.
And its location is absolutely fantastic.
But what makes this bathroom special to me isn't just the wave tiles or the cute bathing suit signs.
It has saved us.
More than once.
When you are exhausted from EPCOT...
when that little hill suddenly feels much bigger than it actually is...
when you realize you have to go RIGHT NOW...
this bathroom is sitting there quietly behind its shrubs.
Waiting.
So the next time you are walking between EPCOT and the Beach Club or Yacht Club, remember it.
The little bathroom by the pool.
Because one day...
it might just be your tiny, air-conditioned bathroom hero too.
