Bathroom #31: The Bathroom That Is Practically Perfect in Every Way
It is a castle!
Supercalifragilisticexpiali-BATHROOM.
Yes.
I said it.
I absolutely adore this bathroom.
This bathroom is currently my second favorite bathroom in all of EPCOT.
Only the American Adventure masterpiece is ahead of it.
And honestly?
That is saying something.
Because this bathroom is whimsical.
It is joyful.
It is charming.
I am pretty sure when you walk toward this bathroom, birds start singing, butterflies start dancing, and somewhere Mary Poppins nods approvingly.
Because this bathroom feels like Mary Poppins herself floated down with her umbrella and said:
“Let’s make a bathroom.”
And then made it practically perfect in every way.
The Story
Before you even enter the bathroom, the magic begins.
The outside area is gorgeous.
There is a beautiful restroom sign tucked into the garden, politely guiding you in the right direction.
So easy to find even when visiting Rose & Crown Pub.
No confusion.
No wandering around.
No bathroom scavenger hunt.
Thank you, Disney.
The entire area feels like a little English garden.
There are flowers.
There is a fountain.
There is charm everywhere.
It feels peaceful.
It feels intentional.
It feels like you should be carrying an umbrella and singing with chimney sweeps.
The actual bathroom building?
It looks like a tiny castle.
Yes.
A castle bathroom.
Because apparently England said, “Even our bathrooms deserve a little royalty.”
And the details.
Oh, the details.
Above the restroom sign there is even a crest.
The crest says Waterloo!
A crest.
For a bathroom.
I love Disney.
And if you look closely at the women’s restroom symbol, she isn’t just a regular bathroom person.
The lady is Mary Poppins; she even has an umbrella.
Nope.
She is dressed like a proper English lady.
The attention to detail!
Someone actually took the time to say:
“You know what this bathroom sign needs? More personality.”
And they were right.
Sorry gentlemen.
That magical little detail belongs to us.
Inside the Bathroom
Now sometimes Disney creates an amazing outside and then you walk inside and…
Pretty entrance. And the women sign has Mary Poppins again!
The magic disappears.
Not here.
Mary Poppins would never allow that.
The inside keeps the charm going.
It’s beautiful!
This is a large bathroom with lots of stalls.
And even better?
The stalls have vacant signs.
Beautiful.
Wonderful.
A bathroom miracle.
Would I have made the bathroom slightly bigger?
Yes.
Because apparently I have opinions about bathroom square footage now.
But am I complaining?
Absolutely not.
The tile work is pretty.
The dark wood stall doors are beautiful.
The whole bathroom feels warm and classic.
Do I love the light green tile?
Not really.
But if my biggest complaint is that I personally would have chosen a different shade of tile…
You know this bathroom is doing something right.
The English feeling continues inside.
The music is gentle.
The atmosphere is calm.
The whole bathroom feels peaceful.
Here’s Where I Landed
Situation: Fantastic.
Even when it gets crowded, it never feels overwhelming.
The layout works.
The crowd moves.
Nobody looks like they are about to have a bathroom meltdown.
That alone deserves applause.
Cold Air: Amazing.
This is an open-door bathroom.
Usually that means goodbye air conditioning.
But not here.
The cool air survives.
Mary Poppins magic strikes again.
Stalls: Great.
Lots of stalls.
Vacant signs.
Beautiful dark doors.
Very well designed.
Paper: Well…
It is still Disney toilet paper.
Even magic has limits.
Flush: Works well.
No bathroom drama.
Always appreciated.
Noise: Surprisingly peaceful.
The music helps.
The design helps.
It feels calm even with people around.
Smell: No problems.
And after visiting some bathrooms around Disney…
That is a very important sentence.
Handwashing: STOP EVERYTHING.
This bathroom has good soap.
Yes.
Good soap.
Different soap.
Soap that actually lathers.
Soap that makes you feel like you successfully washed your hands.
At Disney.
A miracle has occurred.
Somewhere Mary Poppins is smiling.
Decor: Outstanding.
The garden.
The fountain.
The castle look.
The crest.
The restroom sign.
The tiny details.
This is why Disney is Disney.
Final Verdict
This bathroom is a star.
It is beautiful.
It is thoughtful.
It is peaceful.
It proves that even something as ordinary as a bathroom can become part of the story.
Mary Poppins would approve.
And honestly?
So do I.
☂️ Practically perfect bathroom magic.
